Rubbermaid is an American manufacturer and distributor of many household items. It is a subsidiary of Newell Brands. It is best known for producing food storage containers and trash cans. Additionally it produces sheds, step stools, closets and shelving, and laundry baskets, but also air fresheners and other household items.

"2 months with this company and nothing but harassment by a couple of employees. Management did absolutely nothing. This obviously empowered the employees. Don't waist your time if you are white. You will be met with continuous harassment, bullying, and intimidation. Including being called a honky, racist, bigot. No assistance from management.ZeroRacism, Harassment"

"workers risk their health and life working 12 hours a day during the current epidemic and the assistant warehouse raising all kinds of cane because they have to fill up alcohol bottles to sanitize equipment , very classless."

"When you get interviewed they promise you bucu over time, profit sharing benefits, ect. I know someone that has been with this company for 6 months. They are lucky to get 40 hours a week, no profit sharing bonus, no Christmas bonus, NOTHING that they were promised. This company is a joke. Then to top it off employees were informed yesterday that things will only be getting worse so they can waist money on things that are not needed or pointless! How can a company screw their employees (the back bone of every company) and expect a good response. In my opinion never, never NEVER stoop low enough to need this job.You get to financially struggle.Everything!"

"My experience was anything but positive. Management is highly inexperienced, completely inept, passive aggressive/manipulative/bullying. I do not recommend this this company to anyone, most specifically in tech design (not even to grads/entry level people who want or need to gain experience). At least, not until Sr management gets their heads out of the rear ends and replaces TD mangement with individuals who possess LEGITIMATE TD skills with a minimum of 10+ years of experience AND has people-managing experience. Pay is extremely low, especially when compared to other apparel companies with similar TD/apparel development roles that are also located within the SF Bay Area. "They only hired temporary workers for the season, instead of air conditioning they had giant fans that rotate which does make the air less stuffy but does nothing for the heat. Since the warehouse is running dozens of assembly machines at a time the heat is extreme, you spend 14 hours a day standing on concrete with no carpets or padding. Usually working 5 days out of the week. The hours are always the same so that is the only real benefit here. Its a contract job through an employment agency so your pay is minimum wage, 8$ and hour where I lived. The management will rush you to do faster telling you that you are behind your quota when you actually are not just to boost their numbers because the manager with the highest number for the month gets a bonus.Consistent HoursEverything"

"Easy to get hired, pass a hair follicle test and background check and you're in! Jobs are difficult and production based, usually paying 7.25hr. You can make 10-13 hr after getting good enough at job to make the high production quotas. Raises are lump sum based .25 times a estimated 2000 hrs. No cost of living raises whatsoever! "The item has not been delivered. Rubbermaid are not responding to my emails. It took some effort to find their phone number. I phoned 3 times and was cut off whilst trying to ask for a refund. Very poor customer service."

"i am warning everyone that rubbermaids guarantee is false, many years ago i bought a rubbermaid patio set specifically because of its lifetime warranty . When i contacted rubbermaid for repairs or replacement i was told that they no longer make furniture . Fair enough but what about my LIFETIME WARRANTY .I was told that i was out of luck and would not be compensated at all sorry to bad . If they were no longer in business i would understand about not getting compensation ,but they are still in business . It is totally unfair and i feel cheated .WARNING do not trust any of the rubbermaid products they will not stand behind their products"
